Susan Holck is a physician who spent 30 years in Switzerland working for the World Health Organization and traveling widely.  She is fluent in French.  After decades of scientific writing, she turned to writing poetry.  She and her Spanish husband had two trilingual children.  Her writing is deeply informed by the multicultural makeup of her family, as well as the suicide of her husband and the death of her son.
