Counting the Falling Stars

Author: • January 8, 2018 • Poems

milky-way-pixabaythere is a story with no end

& tiny lives ahead       you & me

& us the flow so dense

my duty is to wake at night

& count the falling stars cold meals

on the table

and no

we are not here yet      still digging

should have been said

a color blue

a sky around

& eyes like moons in freezing nights
