1. General

Stichting Cecile’s Writers collects as little personal data as possible. Data collected will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties without permission. Data shall be kept on computers that are password-protected but for no longer than is reasonably necessary.

The Stichting Cecile’s Writers website is secured with SSL and is hosted by web company Argeweb, which in turn treats the information confidentially. Our blog is managed by WordPress.

2. Specifics

Below you can read what information we record on you in different cases, and what we do with it.

2.1. Subscribing to our newsletters

When you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address will be added to our mailing list at MailChimp. This service also allows you to unsubscribe at any time. MailChimp has its own privacy policy.

2.2. Submitting your work

When you submit to Cecile’s Writers Magazine you do so via Submittable. This service also allows you to access your data at any time. Submittable has its own privacy policy.

If we decide to publish your work we will correspond with you directly using your email address. At a later date, we might use the email address to reach out to a writer when we wish to use their work in a new form such as an anthology.

2.3. Visiting website and blog

WordPress keeps track of visitor numbers on both the website and blog, for Stichting Cecile’s Writers. WordPress has its own privacy policy.

3. Access
